Function and Purpose
Instead of deleting content immediately, you can move it to the trash. There it remains marked as “Deleted.” You can restore it if needed or remove it permanently.
Usage
- Articles and menu items: When you delete an article, it first goes to the trash.
- Restore: Filter by the “Trash” status in the backend and set the status back to “Published” or “Unpublished.”
- Permanent delete: Empty the trash via the context menu or the “Delete Permanently” option.
Important Notes
- Regular emptying: Permanently remove items you no longer need to ease database load.
- Automation: Trash can be emptied automatically via Scheduled Tasks.
- No effect on media: Deleted media must be removed separately.
