Function and Purpose
With the Contacts component (com_contact) you create individual contacts. Each contact can be enhanced with a form, address details, phone numbers, or maps. Menu items of the type “Single Contact” display the corresponding form on the frontend.
Typical Use Cases
- Company contacts: Present points of contact, departments, or branches with address, email, and phone.
- Contact forms: Visitors can send messages directly — including Captcha protection.
- Multilingual support: Contacts can be provided for different languages.

- Spam protection: Enable Captcha plugins to prevent spam entries.
